Norah's Irie Jamaican Restaurant

This place is delicious and I love how sweet Norah is! This time around we got the jerk chicken (spicy, smoky, amazing) and Curry chicken (moist, flavorful and delicious). The fried plantains are the best here, I don't understand how other places make them so dry or bland... This place does it right!
On other trips I've gotten the curry goat and oxtail and both are supreme. I just think this place is so yummy... Just order from here:)

Please do stop in to pick up your food, you won't regret it! Norah is wonderful and kind and most definitely a talented cook. She was so sweet and welcoming and allowed me to sample to fresh drinks and I was blown away by the freshness and flavor. Food was wonderful- I can't wait to order from here again!

As soon and I walked in, I received attention from the proprietors. During my brief wait, I enjoyed the calmed, music-enhanced ambience. My food was handed over in about two minutes, and it was delicious and generous proportioned.

Excellent food, home-cooked authentic, flavor, and Norah is wonderful!

I was pleasantly surprised to discover great Jamaican food in Monmouth county! We ordered a large oxtail platter, small brown stew chicken platter, and a side of jerk chicken. The oxtail was good, I could've used a bit more spice but it was a solid dish all around. The stew chicken was alright. Couldn't put my finger on what it needed but the flavor profile paled in comparison to the other dishes.

The jerk chicken. DAMN. It was excellent. Perhaps the best I've had. They don't tone the spice down for it, so have a beer ready to wash it down. I wouldn't order from here and not get the jerk chicken. Enjoy!
